It was during Paris Design Week on September 9 that the Le Berre Vevaud agency inaugurated its first gallery rue de Verneuil in the heart of the Carré Rive Gauche.
This place designed as a showcase is the culmination of several years of reflection led by interior designers Raphaël Le Berre and Thomas Vevaud.
It hosts collections of objects, furniture and shows their creative universe. At the crossroads of several influences, the decor combines and rewrites classic codes for the present through the singular choice of materials, textures and colors.
The staging is fair; every detail is taken care of. A sublime grand siècle parquet revisited in solid steamed oak created by the Rocacher parquetry in dialogue with the molded arches framing a panorama produced in association with the De Gournay manufacture.
On the light walls, the powdery shades of paintings by Ressources bring softness and lightness to the decor.
The key pieces that make up the identity of the Le Berre Vevaud agency have been assembled in the small living room: the Victoria sofa and the Peonia armchairs with voluptuous curves sit side by side with seats from the Ateliers du Lude. Combining straight lines and roundness, brushed spruce and travertine, the Olbia chest of drawers is the flagship piece of furniture in the collection. It was designed in collaboration with Ateliers Sigebene. All these creations have in common the lacquered ball base, a style detail that pays homage to the great interior designers of the 1920s and 1930s.
Iconic piece of the agency, the Barth stool brings a sculptural touch to the space. It is available in several colors and materials such as lacquered wood, marble, lava stone or bronze. Other finishes will be discovered next September.
The scenography of the gallery will evolve according to the seasons and the inspirations of Raphaël Le Berre and Thomas Vevaud, with the presentation of a line of nomadic objects in particular. Interior designers will never cease to honor the excellence of the craftsmen with whom they collaborate. They will also exhibit works of art, a dimension that is still very present in their architectural projects.
The Le Berre Vevaud gallery is an invitation to escape but also to discover the world of Raphaël Le Berre and Thomas Vevaud, marked by a sense of poetry and timeless elegance.
