6639-miaw2018-materials-sudbrock-berliner-bock-accueil-logo-bdFor the German tertiary furniture brand Sudbrock, the Berlin designer Michael Hilgers imagines a compact and elegant office inspired by the silhouette of a goat! An animal profile here stylized and which hosts a work surface overhung with a graphic shelf. A realization at once functional and aesthetic, not without a touch of humor!

From the goat's male, Hilgers retains the tapered legs that he reinterprets in a frame of eight articulated rods - four on each side of the set - offering the user Berliner Bock a great ease of movement. On the thin back of the two parallel-mounted zoomorphic profiles, there is a rectangular board with a width of 160 cm coated with black or white linoleum, while a geometric shelf takes place on the head of the beast and is found there stalled thanks to small ears.

The central shape and recess of this top shelf makes it possible to work from a large screen without fearing that the latter can not adapt to the desktop model. A simple, evocative and fun form entirely made of solid oak from Westphalia (Germany), as is the tradition of Sudbrock's manufacture which uses only local wood in its products.

Berliner Bock is part of the series DESIGNELEMENTS, fully imagined by Michael Hilgers, which also includes LENA, a minimalist surface that can be used as a delicate dressing table as well as a workspace as well as SAW, an elegant storage element with a circular mirror.

A product that proves that inspirational topics are absolutely everywhere.
