Marmol Radziner : Long Valley Ranch Fondée par Leo Marmol et Ron Radziner, l’agence d’architecture Marmol Radziner vient d’imaginer le “Long Valley Ranch”, une maison de plein pied située à Mendocino County en Californie.Résidence secondaire, elle accueille deux chambres, un salon, une salle à manger, une cuisine ainsi qu’un patio et une piscine. Ses parois essentiellement faites de baies vitrées permettent aux habitants de profiter de la nature environnante et du paysage d’à peu près toutes les pièces de l’habitation.Sur ce projet, l’agence Marmol Radziner precise :“This vacation home is set on the crest of a grassy knoll in Mendocino County. The goal was to preserve and enhance the natural beauty of the 160-acre property by siting the retreat in a careful and unobtrusive manner. The 10-module home forms an L-shaped plan, framing views of a canopy of mature oak trees to the south and east. The main volume is oriented east to west and arranged in an open plan. The living room, kitchen, and dining room collectively open southward onto a covered patio with an outdoor fireplace and pool area.
