"Thus shone the Plaza de Ministriles, with our 400 golden cages, full of personal mementos.

The installation Caged Memories will remain lit until the 9th of January, in the skies of Lavapiés and that day, every object will return to its owner together with the cage that contained it.

We hope that the cages will be reused as lamps, as flowerpot holders or as whatever occurs to each person.

Perhaps the balconies of the neighborhood will be filled with golden glitter.

The photos are by Gustavo Sanabria.

Time of installation: 35 hours.
Damages: none.
Exhibition time: 20 days."
