&New : Giraffe Console

&New est un studio de design basé à Londres et fondé par le duo de designers Jo Wilton et Mirka Grohn. Lancée cette année à l’occasion du Tent London, la marque a dévoilé ses premières créations et notamment la console "Giraffe", une création composée d'un plateau en noyer perché sur un fin piétement en acier laqué.

Déclinée dans de nombreux coloris et avec trois finitions de plateaux, la console Giraffe étonne par la structure de son piétement en zigzags. Ludique et minimale cette pièce mêle l’acier poudré au bois pour faire naître le décalage.

“For our own brand the aim was to create a collection of minimal, airy, playful furniture that was made to last. For us it is important that our products are made locally. All our products are pretty new! &New was launched this year and Tent London is our first big exhibition. Our very latest design is Leonard Sideboard, which epitomises our designs with its simple form, practical nature and use of humble materials. It is hand made locally with great attention to detail. The Giraffe Console Table has the wow factor with those long colourful zigzag legs. You can choose from three different top options to fit the mood of the room. The Giraffe is a practical size for the hallway with a bit of playfulness.”
